Yui Ichikawa , is an actress and model from Tokyo, Japan. She is also known by her nickname, Yui-nyan. As an actress she has appeared in several dramas (doramas), and in recent years she has concentrated more on her film career. She played a minor role in the movie Ju-on: The Grudge and reprised her character for a bigger role in the sequel, Ju-on: The Grudge 2. A depressed ex-boxer (Yosuke Kubozuka) self-medicating for the injuries that ended his career finds a stray cat that brightens his day, but she is snatched up by a comical grungy mechanic (Kenji Furuya). On the day of a wrestling match, the referee leaves behind a brief note stating that he quit. He also disappears without a trace. Azusa is now in a serious jam, needing a replacement referee. Unbeknown to Azusa, the man is also a popular star in South Korea. In order to keep "Shiratori Girls Pro Wrestling" afloat, they then join forces to go up against a rival pro-wrestling organization.
